ICESat/GLAS Data at NSIDC

The National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) archives and distributes Level-1 and Level-2 data from the Geoscience Laser Altimeter System (GLAS) instrument aboard the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation (ICESat) satellite, launched on 12 January 2003.
The Data Summaries page lists individual products that NSIDC distributes,
along with information about the release schedule and laser operations.

ICESat/GLAS products and provides different order options. The Data
Releases page summarizes the changes associated with each new release
of data. The Images page provides photos of ICESat and images derived
