Ordering AMSR-E Data from NSIDC
On Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (USA Mountain Time), AMSR-E, ICESat/GLAS, MODIS, and NISE data are normally unavailable for ordering due to system maintenance.
AMSR-E products are available from five sources: Data Pool, Warehouse Inventory Search Tool (WIST), Preliminary Data, SNOWI, and Subscriptions. The highest version number represents the best quality data available.

The Data Pool is a short-term data cache that provides File Transfer Protocol (FTP) access to the entire archive of AE_Rain.001, AE_Land.001, and AE_L2A.002 data, and the most recent 75 days of all other AMSR-E data products. |

This interface provides access to the entire archive of data and browse files, and is currently the only interface that allows you to order spatial and parameter subsets of AMSR-E products, except for Level-2B land. |
