CIRES/NSIDC Student Programmer

Employer: CIRES National Snow and Ice Data Center, East Campus
Pay Rate: $11 to $14/ hr, depending on experience; Student Assistant IV
Average number of hour per week: 20. Can arrange more in Summer and less in Fall/Spring
Terms for Job: One year, Summer/Fall/Spring

The National Snow and Ice Data Center on CU’s East Campus has a NOAA-funded research project to investigate and develop tools for storing NASA HDF data. We are looking for a part-time student programmer to help design and implement these tools.

Duties

  1. Design, write, test, and debug code
  2. Prepare documentation describing the design and use of computer programs and procedures
